"Quick-stepping, bouncy choreography" and "timelessly inventive stagecraft"

All children, except one, grow up
Based on the Oscar-winning movie, Finding Neverland brings the story of Peter Pan and his creator, J.M.Barrie, to the stage in a magical new musical that will make you believe a boy can fly. This American Repertory Theatre production is set to premiere at The Loeb Drama Center this July for a strictly limited run, before transferring to Broadway.
Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, this brand new musical features a score by two giants of UK pop, Gary Barlow and Elliot Kennedy. Barlow is a member of Take That, the most successful UK boy band of all time, while Eliot Kennedy is a Grammy Award winning songwriter who has worked with everyone from Mary J Blige to The Spice Girls. The show's choreography comes courtesy of Mia Michaels, the multi-Emmy Award winning judge of So You Think You Can Dance.
Taking the show's lead roles are Jeremy Jordan (Newsies) and Laura Michelle Kelly, who dazzled audiences in her Olivier Award winning performance as Mary Poppins in both the West End and Broadway productions.
Finding Neverland tells the story of J.M. Barrie's relationship with the Llewelyn Davies family and their vital role in the creation of one of the most famous children's stories of all time: Peter Pan. After a chance encounter at Kensington Park Gardens, playwright Barrie, who had yet to have a real commercial success, becomes a family friend and something of an uncle figure to the five Llewelyn boys. It's during this period that he produces his most famous works, beginning with the Admirable Crichton in 1902 and then the stage play Peter Pan two years later. Finding Neverland is the story of how one man captured something of the child in all of us.
