It's that time of year once more! The highlight of the Tanglewood season, Tanglewood on Parade is your chance to experience a day and evening of wonderful offerings from the Boston Pops, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, concluding with the traditional performance of Tchaikovsky's magnificent 1812 Overture, accompanied by a grand firework display.
The festivities kick off in the evening and are set to include Strauss' Don Juan. Throughout evening an assortment of Tanglewood's close collaborators and conductors including Andris Nelsons, Thomas Wilkins and the legendary John Williams bring their baton-twirling talents together to make this year's parade night to remember.
