Two of the most prodigious songwriters of the rock 'n' roll era are celebrated in this jubilant musical. The longest-running musical revue in Broadway history, Smokey Joe's cafe presents 39 pop standards written by Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller. Emerging as a veritable hit factory in the 1950s, the pair wrote chart-topper after chart-topper for acts like Elvis Presley and The Drifters, including 'Hound Dog', Jailhouse Rock', 'Yakety Yak', as well co-penning the iconic 'Strand By Me' alongside Ben E. King.

Smokey Joe's Cafe packs all of these numbers into a mile-a-minute procession of performances, with various cast members taking on the tracks solo or as a group. The show originally opened on Broadway in 1995, and ran for five years, picking up seven Tony nominations and a Grammy Award along the way.
