John Fogerty at Koussevitzky Music Shed

Why see John Fogerty?

Fortunate Son

Founder member of Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty's unmistakable growl was a staple of American radio during the 60s, on tracks like Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary and the anti-Vietnam war anthem Fortunate Son.

Selling millions of records worldwide, the group disbanded in 1970, at which point Fogerty pursued a highly successful solo career, penning hits including Old Man Down the River and Rockin' All Over the World (later made famous by Status Quo).

Don't miss Fogerty when heads out on tour across the country, bringing his talents a stage near you.

Still Going Strong

Wife and I went to the Boston show last night. Here is my honest review. Show started 45 minutes late. Who knows why. Once on stage Fogerty and the band was great. His 2 sons and daughter are with him. Fogerty still has a strong voice and still a great musican. Did many of his CCR hits. For 76 years young excellent he is a legend. However after about less than 90 minutes he was getting tired. HIs last song Fortunate Son was about 90 secounds long and then the show was over. Mr. Fogerty needs to cut down to performing 2 days a week at most. ... Read more

Amazing period

I have had the pleasure seeing John 2x one time in Vegas and the other in Santa Fe New Mexico. He’s my favorite musician, just a ton of fun. Now I know what Woodstock would have felt like. Being 31 from a family that my father was a drummer in the 60s makes me appreciate music like this. His music gets to you, I get chills down my spine sometimes hearing CCR on the radio just because of the power Fogerty has! ... Read more

Fogerty at Ravinia

It was a great show, one of the best. John himself had the energy of a person 25. He did most of his old songs both from CCR and solo. He also did some new songs and they sounded great. Unlike his sons band in the opening act, you could hear and understand the words. His sons when they played with John showed the old man taught them well. I hope to see him again. Just a great show. ... Read more
