Patti LuPone's remarkable career has stretched back over 40 years. She made her Broadway debut in 1973 in the Chekhov adaptation The Three Sisters, and would go on to make The Great White Way her second home. LuPone in Concert - PHENOMENAL

Saw her three times this year, twice at 54 Below in New York in January and most recently in Toledo on March 4. I'm always fascinated by her ability to transport the audience into another world, by her performing skills, acting skills and magnificent voice. During her most recent concert she was wounded. She had broken her wrist and sprained her knee during an accident while filming, she still performed outstandingly and besides the cast on her arm you wouldn't have known. Her voice is one of the few miracles in the world. And when you're able to sing Don't Cry For Me Argentina in the original key and still sound the same, or even better than 46 years ago, at the age of 73, then you're phenomenal! She's a legend and they don't make performancers like her anymore. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GO SEE HER IN CONCERT. Especially if you like Broadway. And she's for all ages, I'm 23. ... Read more
