The Wedding Singer

Why see The Wedding Singer?

Totally Tubular

Travel back to the heady days of 1985, where hair is big and C.D. Players are intriguing novelties as your local theatre company presents this fantastic new production of The Wedding Singer, a musical adapted from Adam Sandler's hilarious and uplifting movie of the same name. Set to a soundtrack of 80's greatness, enjoy the New Jersey-set story of Robbie Hart - the titular wedding singer - and his winding journey to his own impending nuptials!

What Is The Story?

Wedding singer Robbie Hart's joy in his work is doubled by his own upcoming marriage. But even though he may be Jersey's choice of wedding entertainment, his own road to the altar is not so smooth. Enter Julia, a delightful waitress who might just help Robbie rediscover his purpose and his heart!

Debuting on Broadway in 2006, it's a hilarious and touching adaptation from Ched Beguelin, Tim Herlihy and Matthew Sklav (the team behind Elf the Musical) that tells Robbie's story anew with fabulous songs, dance numbers, romance, and plenty of totally radical 80s references.
