Why see Iron Maiden?

The Future Past Tour

Prepare yourself for Iron Maiden's most explosive live spectacular ever as the British heavy metal outfit return to North America on their extravagantly staged The Future Past tour. With more Pyro, light, flame effects than ever and even an entire replica Spitfire in working in perfect fusion with their hard rock tunes, this is THE event Maiden fans won't want to miss.

Iron Maiden was formed in London in 1975, and given the fact they took their name from a medieval torture device, it was clear they weren't gonna be Grandmother's new favorite band. Pioneering a wave of British heavy metal, their no-nonsense approach, taking inspiration from the likes of Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, and of course the monumental vocals of singer Bruce Dickinson, immediately marked them out as something special. Among their most iconic tracks are 'Run to the Hills', 'The Number of the Beast' and 'The Trooper'. Catch one of the genre's defining artists when Iron Maiden heads on The Future Past tour in 2024.

Iron Maiden Legacy of the Beast

We've been seeing Maiden as often as possible for more years than we can count. Every time was a highlight. But the concert at Mansfield, Ma, last night was the best ever. Maiden never disappoints. Bruce was at the top of his game! It was sold out, and worth much more than the price of admission! I wish I could see them again tonight! The energy, the euphoria! Everyone around us was totally engaged in the experience and singing at the top of their lungs. It was a Maiden crowd. Everyone in concert shirts going way back. Who needs drugs? Iron maiden is the best drug on the planet, and it's totally legal. I've been teaching for 50 years, and I still play Maiden in my classroom, just for me, early every morning. I met one of my students there last night. It's a great way to communicate between the generations! Maiden's catalogue is also so cerebral: the myth of Daedalus and Incarus, for instance, "The Ancient Mariner", not played last night, ptobably because of length. Iron Maiden is the soundtrack of my life. I can't wait for the next tour! ... Read more

Iron Maiden August 1, 2019

Iron Maiden, August 1, 2019 Massachusetts. Bruce spoke very little tonight between songs, which seemed a bit out of character for him. I actually look forward to his rants. Anyway, they did a safe, classic playbook setlist. No room for the obscure songs or "deep cuts" at this show. ... Read more

2019. Like a fine wine these guys

First saw Iron Maiden in 1987. They never disappoint. Have seen them several times since. Always a first class act with good production. Normally they have about ten times the PA system they need in order to make sure that the folks in the next county can hear the show. Not so much this evening. It was plenty loud but your ears didn’t bleed and your couldn’t watch your clothes shake from the sound. This was the best I’ve ever heard them. Bruce sang better than 30 years ago. The sound was spot on. The whole thing Was brilliant. In a time when aging bands are showing some rust, it seems Iron Maiden haven’t even begun to start kicking our asses. Up the irons! ... Read more
