Justin Hayward is the heart of the Moody Blues. At 78 years old his voice is still strong as he sang many of the songs you would want to hear. His band was more of a chamber music quartet featuring a rhythm guitarist who added percussion by banging his guitar while strumming, a flutist and keyboard player the latter 2 female with soothing voices to compliment Justin. Would like to have seen John Lodge and a real drummer instead. Never saw Christopher Cross before but was very entertained with him playing all of his hits. Was blown away at how good a guitarist he was. All in all it was an enjoyable evening that brought back the sounds of my teenage years.

Hayward was great; cross was too loud

I've seen justin in concert countless times. His voice was just as great as last year when I saw him at the birchmere, and innumerable concerts before then. Keep it up, justin. You are loved. I was surprised that justin was the first act and cross the main act. I liked him too, but he was waaaay too loud, so loud that lyrics were incomprehensible and my ears rang. There was no need to play so loudly!! In all, a great concert.keep it up, justin!
