Dolls Reunited

Self-proclaimed Brechtian punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls are hitting the road this fall to celebrate their reformation and forthcoming new album, the first since their hiatus in 2008. The Coin-Operated Boy singers will bring the full force of their iconic back catalog, as well as several of their most recently written tracks for all fans new and old to rock out to. Dresden Dolls were formed in 2000 after Brian Viglione and Amanda Palmer met at a Halloween party. The pair's dramatic aesthetic and immersive shows quickly gained them a cult following of fans, many of whom became involved in the shows as live performers of fire breathers, stilt walkers, and more. Independently of eachother, Palmer is a musician, performance artist, and goth icon, and Viglione is a legendary drummer, who has also worked with many other musicians, including Nine Inch Nails, Radiator King and the folk punk band Violent Femmes.
