An Evening with Mark Hoppus

Why see An Evening with Mark Hoppus?

Blink 182's Mark Hoppus Bears All

Blink 182 founder and all round pop-punk icon Mark Hoppus bears all in conversation, coinciding with the release of his memoir Fahrenheit-182. An open, honest and frank tell-all about the highs, lows and everything in between that came with being part of a culture-defining trio, as well as his mental struggles, brush with cancer and journey back to health, the legendary bassist issued a warning... "this shit gets dark".

California-born Hoppus formed Blink-182 in the mid-1990s alongside guitarist Tom DeLonge and original drummer Scott Rayner. Following the addition of Travis Barker to replace Rayner, the band became one of the defining acts of the late '90s and early 2000s pop-punk movement, before frosty relations within the band led to a lengthy hiatus. Hoppus got himself involved in various projects in that interim, including his musical side project +44, work as a TV host and involvement in various philanthropic efforts. With Blink 182 now back with their classic line up and selling out shows around the world again, there's no better time to hear the truth behind the scenes with a culture defining icon.
