This February, Cupid is aiming his arrow at some of the best Boston musicals in town, and you're sure to fall head-over-heels for one of them. From all-time favourites to cult classics, there's plenty of choice for you and your Valentine (or Galentine) to choose from. So, get ready to wow your company of choice and spread the love with these fantastic Boston musicals!

Pretty Woman The Musical on Broadway.

1. The Book of Mormon (Citizens Bank Opera House)

The Tony Award-winning masterpiece by the creators of South Park follows two missionaries who are worlds apart - the intelligent and enthusiastic Elder Price, and the geeky and pathological fibber Elder Cunningham. Dispatched to a remote Ugandan village on a two-year mission, the pair attempt to spread the word of their religion - however, the locals are more concerned with wider issues such as the AIDS pandemic, hunger, and poverty.

With sharp humour and buckets of satire, this cultural phenomenon has been making audiences laugh out loud since 2011.

2. Evil Dead the Musical: The HD Tour (Plaza Theatre)

Dripping with blood and humour, Evil Dead the Musical mashes elements from each of the cult classic films into one thrilling plot. It follows five college students who accidentally unleash an evil force during their stay at an abandoned cabin. Ash, a former housewares employee turned demon-killing hero, leads the charge against the evil forces, delivering not only a hefty blow of his chainsaw but plenty of laughs along the way.

With its outrageous songs and equally outlandish story, the show has achieved global acclaim, with successful runs Off-Broadway, record-breaking performances in Toronto, awards in Korea, and over 500 productions worldwide.

3. My Fair Lady (Hanover Theatre)

Phonetics expert Professor Henry Higgins wagers that he can transform cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a lady by teaching her proper speech, but it's an experiment that will change both of their lives indefinitely. Featuring beloved songs such as "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?", "Get Me to the Church on Time", and "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face", celebrate the timeless charm and elegance of My Fair Lady, the Tony-Award nominated masterpiece.

    4. Pretty Woman (Emerson Colonial Theatre)

Vivian is a free-spirited lady working the streets of Sunset Boulevard, and Edward is a wealthy businessman focused on winning the reward - they are two unlikely souls, destined to meet in a city full of dreams and ambition. Although their relationship starts purely professionally when Edward proposes to Vivian to accompany him to social and business activities, the boundaries between business and love begin to blur - but if Edward can't give her the happily ever after she desires, will Viv be able to go back to who she was before?

    5. The Simon and Garfunkel Story (Emerson Colonial Theatre)

The acclaimed concert-style musical chronicles the journey of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, two iconic musicians whose collaboration gave birth to the legendary duo, Simon & Garfunkel. Their story takes place before your very eyes live on stage, taking you back to a simpler era, accompanied by a full band and brass orchestra. The show features timeless hits like The Sound of Silence', Mrs. Robinson', Homeward Bound', and Bridge Over Troubled Water'. The Simon & Garfunkel Story isn't just a musical, it is a celebration of authentic imagery of the duo, real footage, newsreels, and advertisements from the sixties and beyond.
