Why See Tanglewood on Parade?
Back for 2017!
It's that time of year once more! The highlight of the Tanglewood season, Tanglewood on Parade is your chance to experience a day and evening of wonderful offerings from the Boston Pops, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, concluding with the traditional performance of Tchaikovsky's magnificent 1812 Overture, accompanied by a grand firework display.
Tickets entitle you for entry at 14.30 when the festivities kick off with a chamber music recital, followed by a cello recital and much more. Then through to the evening where the assorted orchestra's conductors, Charles Dutoit, Moritz Gnann, Keith Lockhart, and John Williams will astound, bringing their talents together to make this year's parade a night to remember.
