Ira Glass: 3 Acts 2 Dancers 1 Radio Host
The first time I saw Monica perform, I was struck at how the sensibility of her company felt exactly like the sensibility of the radio show

Why see Ira Glass: 3 Acts 2 Dancers 1 Radio Host?
Ira Glass Plus Dancing
This American Life host Ira Glass comes together with Monica Bill Barnes & Company to create something quite unique. While Glass has toured by himself before, whiling away his time on stage with a charming mix of anecdotes and musings, his show has never had any kind of visual accompaniment before. It's provided this time around by contemporary dancers Barnes and Anna Bass, who interpret Glass' stories in a flurry of different styles and moods as the show progresses.
Ira Glass began his career in radio aged just 19 as an intern for NPR. This American Life came onto air in 1995, and has run ever since, with Glass at the helm as the show's host and executive producer. Aired weekly, this award-winning show covers a different theme each week, though the stories and accounts it tells are usually of a personal nature and about the 'everyday American.'
